The Friends of St Joseph’s is an informal committee made up of parents with children in school.  Our aim is to organise a number fundraising activities and social events for parents and children throughout the year.  Recently money raised by the committee has provided sports equipment, indoor games and ICT equipment for your children.

We are a fairly small group and with most of us out at work too, we do need your support.  We meet on average once a month in term time at member’s houses and try to meet at least once a term in the School Hall.  This enables us to have a larger meeting and invite Class Representatives and any other parents who want to come along and find out what we’re doing.

We are currently in the process of re-instigating the class representative system so that parents have a point of contact for their own class.  The role of the Class Rep will largely be in disseminating information about the various activities and events organised by the Friends and helping to organise a class stall at the Summer Fun Day and Christmas Bazaar.  As well as the committee we do have a small band of helpers who we can call on and we are very grateful to them for all the time and energy they give.  If you would like to become involved in any of our activities or can help in any way please see your Class Rep or a member of the committee.
