Pupils have been taking part in special activities to explore and celebrate Black History Month this October.
Activities include a special assembly for year 3 and 4, where they learnt about the origins of the celebration. They also worked together to understand a timeline of Black British History and when anti-racism laws were introduced.
Pupils also had an opportunity to ask questions and were able to consider the importance of equality.
Year 6 have also been celebrating the start of Black History Month by thinking about inspirational Black people in the world, focussing on athletes.
