Joy for St. Joseph’s as school named in Sundays Times Top 100 prep school list
The list is based on school SATs results and puts St Joseph’s 55th after achieving an average score of 322.
St Joseph's prides itself on the academic accomplishments of pupils, while maintaining a Christian environment throughout all school activities to help children grow into confident, caring individuals.
Denise Buckley, Headteacher, said, “I’m very pleased to see us featured in this list. It is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our pupils and I’m incredibly proud of them. We offer a varied curriculum to help pupils achieve their very best, not just in exams or testing but spiritually, morally, socially and culturally, to help them prepare for the future. We work hard to create an environment where our pupils flourish and our SATs results demonstrate this.”
Alongside a creative curriculum, pupils at the school are offered specialist lessons in Languages, Music, Speech & Drama and Physical Education, including swimming lessons in its onsite pool.
The school achieved a Good rating in its most recent Ofsted inspection in 2018.
