Mad Scientist Day
Our pupils had the opportunity to take part in range of colourful and exciting experiments as part of a special Mad Scientist Day.
The event took place on Friday 11 October and saw the whole school take part in a day of activities to help them learn more about experiments and reactions.
A level pupils from Mayfield Grammar School, Gravesend and Gravesend Grammar School hosted six different stations, each demonstrating a different science activity for the younger pupils to watch or try.
The activities included making their own lava lamps by creating bubbles in oil, learning more about ph levels with a colourful rainbow display and gaining knowledge about fuels and ways to stop burning.
