School arrangements due to Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Following the Government’s latest briefing (Wednesday 19 March 2020), the school will be closed to the majority of children from this Friday, 20 March 2020, until further notice.
The Government is asking all schools to close to all children except for children of key workers and vulnerable children. We have sent a letter to all parents via email. We will be working with you all to sort out arrangements to minimise disruption for everyone during this time.
Staff are working hard to ensure the continuity of your child’s education. We have emailed information and arrangements for the work packs and contacting of teachers to those who will not be attending school.
We are aware this is a changing situation, and we will continue to monitor this closely. We are also working hard to put measures in place for future weeks, if we are required to continue to educate remotely following the Easter break and will continue to update parents via Parentmail.
As part of this directive, we have also postponed all upcoming Open Days and events, including the Early Year Open Morning on 26th March 2020, and the Open Morning on 25th April. Registrations for September 2020 and September 2021 remain open, and we will still be taking any calls and enquiries from prospective parents during this time.
We will continue to update our Events Page with the latest information, as this situation develops.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our parents for their patience and understanding during these challenging circumstances.
